October 3rd

It has been a couple of weeks since we closed for the year. We've had some time to reflect on the past season and, wow, it was quite a year for us!

Pete's started our new look last year but we really carried it over to the inside with an all-new paint job and window decals. We were also able to display all of the Pete's Kids pics for the first time, ever, with a series of collages. We'd be remiss if we didn't thank Fred Harrison for his mural work, too.

We added a TV to display our delicious treats, prices and Pete's Kids mini-collages.

We upgraded the outside with a new "deck" and steps making it safer & easier to get through the front doors.

Speaking of Pete's Kids, we welcomed "new inductees" with the Kindergarten Class of 2016 and bid good bye & good luck to the FHS Class of 2016.

We ushered in the digital age by offering debit payments for the first time! It was an exciting change for us, and welcome by our customers we're sure.

We paraded with the nice folks of the Blacks Harbour Fog Festival & the small (but mighty & proud) St George Granite Town Festival do-over. The highlight of our season is seeing so many friends along the paraderoutes.

We had another great summer with the T-ballers. They were also able to raise a lot of donations for the St George & Area Food Bank. Thanks to Keri & the other adults for making it possible!

Another THREE winners were added to the Winning Wall as we gave away more 11.4L tubs of ice cream.

Keeping it local and expanding our menu, we added Ganong Chicken Bone & Pal-O-Mine sundae & flurry flavours

Thank you to all of you who have come in & supported Pete's not just this year, but all of the years we've been here serving St George & all of our great communities.

Also, a big thanks to the staff and everyone who has helped make this another amazing season.

Who knows what we'll have in store for Season 33? We hope you'll come see us and find out in 2017!

April 12th

The evolution of Pete's continues as we freshen our look further!

On April 8th, we had decals added to our windows and doors featuring 'Lil Pete and our colourful logo.

We've also enlisted the talents of renowned muralist Fred Harrison. Fred is working his magic to add some colorful murals inside of Pete's. So far he's added artwork above our counter, on the front of the main cooler/feezer & to the swiningdoor that leads to out bathroom area.

Fred's talents can also be seen in Sussex, as he was responsible for the creation of four of their famous murals.

If you can, please come into the store & see Fred's wonderful artistry. If you can't, check out the photo galleries (Page 3) for the "Changes 2016" gallery. We're documenting some of his work in progress and as they get finished.

It doesn't stop there either...we've got more in store!

April 1st

Our 32nd will be a year of change. Last year, we had the exterior painted "Bubblegum Blue." This year, we've painted the interior of Pete's wil lots more to come!

We're excited at all of the changes we've made and the ones yet to come! We hope you'll join us as we "evolve."
